The Book Has Arrived!

Here it is, a few pictures of the book (it looks much better in person)! Some of you helped with this and you have my sincere gratitude. I wish I could have made a copy of the book available as a perk in the £20 range but there's no way I could have done that unless I got 1000 printed or something around there. Bulk orders reduce the price per book significantly. Perhaps if there is enough interest I can do another run. Maybe an expanded edition, that would be cool! Again, thank you all very much, I couldn't have done it without you!

Indiegogo Update: Soundtrack & Posters

The first of the perks went out early, all Nova supporters and up should have received their download codes for the soundtrack album today! First Bloom Indiegogo Update

I did something I'm really proud of, I wrote and illustrated a book (soundtrack and music videos!) and I think the results are pretty good. It was a difficult but ultimately satisfying 6 months of work. I learned a lot and I'm pleased with what I accomplished.

There are only 10 hours left and I don't think I'm going to get any more contributions.  I would have liked to have made more copies of the book as 20 is a paltry number and I have to raise the price higher per copy. I have serious doubts I'll make the money back let alone profit, if I sell any at all. I was able to get posters and cards made but again, the posters are too few. It's probably crazy and pointless for me to even go to Comic Con. I don't know what I expected to accomplish there, nothing realistic. I've always been a crazy dreamer like that though. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't feeling a bit down. But it's too late to back out now.

I want to thank you all for your help and I hope I see one or two of you at London Comic Con.

The soundtrack is done!

I just put the finishing touches on the soundtrack! It’s done! I’m not sure how many CDs I can make. Not many. It will of course be available on Bandcamp as well but having a physical copy is nice. For many people it makes it more real. But whatcha gonna do? I’ll make as many copies as I can. Thanks again for your support!

The book is done!

I’ve got good news and less than good. First, the good: The book is off to the printer! That’s awesome!

The bad: Unfortunately, I can only afford to get 20 printed. I might be able to scrape together enough to get some CDs and small prints or postcards of the illustrations. Honestly, it’s not looking good on the CD or poster front. I still have to pay for the hotel and train/bus ticket. I’ll do what I can to get a poster to the Supernova funder but it won’t be easy. I really wish things had gone better.

On the positive side, I’m glad that I got what I did. Thanks! :)

I'm done with all the main illustrations! YAY! Now to the hard part, getting a 20-24 page book done and a few copies printed with practically no money for London Comic Con. I honestly don't know how I'm going to do it. I'd create a Kickstarter or IndieGoGo fund but I have doubts anyone would contribute.
